Even though this ad does involve call to action as well, showing this juicy burger upfront appeals to tones taste buds.
Must have:
By revealing its amazing qualities, this Dettol ad certainly seems to be a must have.
Repeating 'sale' is certainly going to grab the eye of the reader

This Vatika ad reveals the special ingredients to strengthen and give your hair a healthy glow

Using Priyanka Chopra, and having a positive quote from her side, simply means it is an endorsement ad.

What comes to my mind when I see this advert is that it is quite convincing because the two models ( the young one and the old one ) look very similar and can pass as the same person.
Methods of advertising
ReflectionToday in class we were presenting the posters we have made, My group and I did two different topics we did Newspaper Ads and O.O.H media. O.O.H stands for Out of House media. We split our work into fair parts so everyone did the same amount of work. I also learned from my group members and I gained knowledge from researching for the poster. I learned that newspaper ads a useless if they are not interesting or if they do not catch the eye of the readers. I learned that newspaper ads targets adults and the elderly, because teenagers, children and preteens do not read newspapers these days as they are more into magazines, play station etc. I learned from the other groups when they presented about the different types of advertisements such as; Television advertisements are one of the most popular because you have to watch the ad if you want to watch whatever movie or video or series that comes after, I learned that billboards are not the only form of out of house advertisements; there are hot air balloons, people holding up posters etc. Personally i enjoyed watching everyone present, most people had loud and clear voices whilst some were very quite and shy making it difficult to hear what they were saying. Over all the presentations were quite good though some posters were lacking in information and creativity. Personally my favorite poster was Ria and Anania's poster because you could tell that they split the work fairly and they had an appropriate amount of information and pictures. That is what you are supposed to do when working in pairs, you are supposed to split the work and I think its great that they actually followed that rule.
